Le Swing Jive Dance in Manchester
Le Swing is a small jive company that runs jive dance venue's in the North West
THE FREE STYLE ARE ON THE 4TH FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
The Le Swing venue (Longfield Suite, Prestwich, Manchester) is now perceived by many, to be the best modern-jive weekly venue in the North West and also still the cheapest at £6.50 pp.
Every Monday night (excluding Bank Holidays) we open our doors to approximately 200 dancers
An evening of jive consists of lessons and free style. Lessons are taught from the stage. To help the novice, the jive lessons are broken down into small segments. During the free style period, there are plenty of exprienced Le Swing jiver's who will be happy to help new dancers practice the moves. At 9:00 pm, during the Intermediate lesson, beginners can join a smaller group in another room with an instructor and demostrator they will again teach the moves shown that evening.
These events are great fun with the chance of meeting new friends and can be a great way of keeping fit. The best thing is that you don't even need to bring a partner with you!
The standards are extremely high. The music is wonderfully varied. The floor is spacious and made for dancing (literally). The atmosphere is electric! Prepare to meet new friends.

Rak was a hand picked and trained by myself and is now one of the best Dj's in the North West, Rak is well liked by all the dancer's for his music and proved to be a key player of the Le swing jive team, Rak is now passing the training on to another Dj Graham.

TAZ has been a instructor for some time now at other venues in the North West, Taz was asked to stand in for one Night, on that night 90% of the people gave very good fed back on how they enjoyed Taz's Lessons
